2 Kings continues the history of the nations of Israel and Judah and reveals the power of the true God for blessing and judgement. We see an example of this as we look at good king Hezekiah and the ministry of Elisha, and two instances where the power of the LORD was clearly on display for the purpose leading all people to know Him as the only true God and Savior. Our summary verse is from 2 Kings 19:19: “Now therefore, O LORD our God, I pray, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that You are the LORD God, You alone.” – (NKJV)
