Day 27 – 2 Corinthians 8:9 “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.” (NKJV) – This verse highlights “The Great Exchange” and what Jesus endured and took on, so that we might have what He gave up. This is grace!

Day 26 – Philippians 4:19 And my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (NASB) – God is a personal God, He is mine and He is able to give us all that we need. We look to Him for all things, but according to His will and glory.

Day 25 – Psalm 4:8 In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety. (ESV) – The LORD is the only one who can give us true contentment so that we can “rest easy” knowing that His mercy is new every day.

Day 23 – Romans 14:17 “for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.” (NKJV) Paul gives us some perspective about what is and is not important when it comes to Kingdom of God, and the gifts He offers us.

Day 22 – 1 John 4:10 “In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.” (NKJV) Propitiation is atonement made to make things right. God does this for us in the blood of Jesus, which reveals true love and gives us real HOPE!

Day 21 – Romans 5:8 “But God proves His own love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us!” (HCSB) Paul describes both the natural human condition (sinners) and the nature of God, who proves His love for us in the death of His Son, even when we sinners!

Day 20 – Jeremiah 15:16 “When your words came, I ate them; they were my joy and my heart’s delight, for I bear your name, LORD God Almighty.” (NIV) This verse tells us just how important the Word is in our lives and how it gives us joy and life. It is the Word that is our joy and hope.

Day 19 – 1 Peter 1:3-4 “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you. (NKJV). God doesn’t just give hope, He gives a hope that only He can – a “living” hope, of which we are assured through the resurrection of Jesus!
